How To Charge Your Smartphone Faster

Smartphone is coming with so many amazing features that can fulfill most of our demands but the only thing where it still lags is the battery capacity. The battery of every Smartphone drains too fast due to various applications, continuous network connectivity, animation effects and brighter screens.

So always you need to carry the charger with you. You must have noticed that sometimes the phone is charged fast and sometimes it takes long time to be fully charged.

For example, Charging takes less time when the charger is connected to the power adapter than if it is connected to the USB cable on PC or with the power bank. But there are some tricks following which you can charge your Smartphone faster. The ways are discussed here. Although the upcoming Galaxy S9 is said to be coming with FAST CHARGING feature in-built that will quickly charge your Galaxy S9.

 

  1. Use the power cord

The AC wall outlet of your home is the best power source and it makes the Smartphone charging faster. When you use the AC adapter or any third party one to charge the Smartphone it gets charged fully in less time. Also if your phone comes with a USB cable that can be plugged into the charger the result will be more fruitful.

  1. Switch to Airplane mode

If you charge your Smartphone keeping on, the charging capacity is slow down as everything goes on constantly such as making call, receiving calls, messages and other important tasks. So it is better if you switch off the phone or inactivate the mobile carrier so that you won’t receive any calls and messages. Switching to the Airplane mode is a good way that can makes the charging faster but you won’t be able to make and receive any calls in this mode. It is useful when you are in hurry and need the phone to be charged quickly.

  1. Use USB 3.0 port

USB 3.0 version makes the charging faster than USB 1.0 and 2.0 versions. So if you prefer to charge your Smartphone using the USB cable on your laptop or computer then try using the USB 3.0 port and these days most of the PC comes with USB 3.0 port.

Most of the modern notebooks from Lenovo and Asus let you decide that how much of the power to dedicate for charging the mobile through USB 3.0 port. So if you are charging the phone through USB cable in the PC then dedicate large part of the power for charging your mobile faster when you are in hurry.

  1. Turn off features and updates

Whether you are using an iPhone or android always it sucks more battery if all the features such as vibration mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other things are kept on. So turn off all those features to make the charging process quicker.

Also check in the play store and App store if the apps updates are on as the updating process keeps on going for at least one app which eats more battery and makes the charging slow.

  1. Avoid switching on the screen while charging

Most of us keep on checking for notification by switching on the screen even when the phone is plugged into the charger. This makes the charging slow. So avoid switching on the screen if you want to charge your phone fast.

By following the above tricks you can make the charging process faster to a great extent.
